so jealous :)

i am so jealous of all you reiners, barrel racers/speed racers, cutters, etc...
there is nothing really like that near me. and if there are, no one does them. i wish i could have a chance to do what you guys have a chance to do.
keep up your hard work. you guys are great riders and have great horses!!!
have a great day. just wanted to let you guys know how lucky you are :)

I'm sure you could find SOMETHING in your area, and I am sure others are looking too, so maybe put together a club?:)

I'm certain there is something there. It may not be as common but I'm sure there are western events out there. I checked out trainer/affiliate lists in a few associations and all had at least one in your state. Contacting them might be a good place to start.

Here's the NRHA list NRHA Trainers Directory

There were 2 on the NCHA trainer's list in NJ.

Then there's the NRCHA, 1 affiliate in NJ

There are some of the best trainers in the NRHA in NJ. NRHA Hall of Fame trainer Rocky Dare is in NJ along with many others. Just check out your local affiliate through

What part of Jersey are you in? I'm in South jersey and we have TONS of western stuff going on here. Barrel shows, speed shows, Team penning/sorting, etc. Not too many reining shows that I can see but there might be some hiding.
