Timed Cowboy Trial?

Hey Guys,
Ok please excuse my newb-ness :P
But do you know what a Timed Cowboy Trial is?? There's a trail course competition going on around my area in June, and I want to enter, but wasn't sure what to practice for... There are 3 classes: Obstacle Course, Cowboy Timed, and of course, Trail Horse. I have absolutely no idea what the 2nd one is, but I know I'm ready for the other two. I would like to enter all three, but I just need some help....
Thanks!

First off, welcome to the forum.

I am not familiar with that particular competition, though it sounds like something that I would really enjoy doing. I would suspect that the "cowboy timed" would have something to do with cattle...maybe some sort of roping demonstration?

I think the only way to find out for sure would be to contact the people in charge of putting it on, or perhaps even the person chosen to be judge if you know who it is. They would be able to tell you what to expect and what they are looking for in a winner.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/
