Well that was interesting! First lesson in a while.

I went for my first lesson for 5 months in a new barn a new trainer and a very nervous rider (me). I wasn't having a good day Champ wouldn't soften to the bit he had a choppy lope oh joy. I love this trainers methods. Champ and I will be better in the end. I have got some many compliments on my skills but it didn't show in that lesson so I hope to make a better impression next week. Oh well near the end it was going well so I hope I will start like that next week. I plan to ride twice this week I think I can finish my "homework" he gave me. Anyways thought I would just say that I will update next week too.

That's great to hear =] Awesome that you can get lessons on your own horse too.
