Western show shirt sizes ( conversions )

Hi guys

I plan to show western for the first time for myself and my mare.
I am totally clueless on the western show shirt sizes . I am a size x-small to a small in regular clothing so im wondering what id be . If anyone has any ideas on the sizes and how they work I'd love to hear it.

You would be the same size as your normal size I think.

Take your exact measurements (chest, waist, hips, and sleeve length) and use those instead of sizes. Every brand runs a little different so the measurements are the most accurate way. If you like your shirts to be fitted (snug), buy one that measures about 1" smaller than your actual measurements, assuming the shirt has stretch. If you like your shirt to fit but not feel snug, buy one that is about exact with your measurements. If you like a little room (never get a lycra shirt that is too big......it will look way too baggy), get one that is about 1" larger than your measurements.
