Paint Suggestions: 91' Camaro RS

For Christmas Dad is going to paint my baby for me! I just need to pick a color so he can get the paint mixed so she's done in time.

She's a 91' Camaro RS. All black interior. I want her to stand out, since she has a just about perfect body, only one tiny ding on her roof that he can easily fix for me. But I don't want her super flashy, since the cops like to follow her as it is. Besides she's a barn car. She's normally covered in mud and grossness, so I don't want something that will really show the grime.

I know I want to do black and another color. I'm leaning between silver and lime green though I'm open to suggestions. I don't want to do the typical teal, yellow, red that everyone does for these cars.

I want her grill, around the headlights and the ground effects painted black, and the rest another color. I love that look on these cars.

So silver, green, or other? I attached a few pics of her I took in the rain. She's more teal then the pics show. Not so blue.

Paint Suggestions: 91' Camaro RS

Nice to see another fbody person here! I've got a '68 Firebird in primer waiting to be painted. I'd do a gun metal Grey on your '91. I think it'd look sharp with the black interior.

I LOVE my F-bodies. I learned to drive a stick in my Dad's 96' Firebird and my first car was a 92' Camaro RS(Notice a trend?). Dad currently drives a 78' Camaro Z28.

Dad swears by F-Bodies. He says if he's putting me in a small car its going to be a Camaro or a Firebird, not some cheap import. My Camaro was backed into by a Toyota a few weeks back. The Toyota's rear end was crumbled, as you can tell my girl came out of the encounter with just some primer scraped off.

What color are you going with your girl?

She's defiantly look good grey. I honestly haven't seen a color I don't like on these cars. That's my problem!

I have had a couple of F bodies myself, word of advice NO NO NO red... like a pull me over sign on the car..LOL. I had a 89 formula in what was called bahama blue ( mine had t tops but same car formula 350) not my car.. I miss it though..
had a black interior, was nice all shined up, yours looks like it was greenish/ bluish to begin with

Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

My girl is loud so I can't even pull into a gas station without people turning to look, so the cops love to follow me around. I can't imagine the attention she'd get if she was red.

Oh your girl was so pretty! Love the color. Think it might be to pale for my girl tho.

This is what Baby Girl (Yes, that's her name) factory color is. I swear 80% of them are this color so I don't want to go with it

Bad idea on a car like that. Might as well just park it if you paint it one of those colors as the cops would be on you so fast, your head would be spinning. Hell, I have a bright red '86 Escort GT and every cop in my town knows my car. Was going over video footage with a detective today and we started talking cars and the second I told him what I drive he said "Oh, THAT car." I've never gotten a speeding ticket in my life, BTW.

I like the gunmetal grey idea.
