New Mini Donkey Owner

I have a very young donkey foal, a Jack, who is only about 3 and a half months old. I do not own any other donkeys but we have a goat. Both are in a barn together and share a large pen. Two days ago, the donkey started biting me, my husband and the goat! He is very sweet but also very young and I know he would benefit greatly from being with his mother but that is not an option. We only have one acre so we are not legally allowed to have more than two hoofed animals. I need advice on how to train him and make him feel less stressed. He loves our dogs and wants to be with us at all times but our pasture is too lush to allow him to be grazing all day.

Hi & welcome Ashley,

I will come back to this, no time now - but I'm a donkey lover & so wanted to 'get in on it'!

But what I feel the need to say now is... How DARE you make a thread about a baby donkey & not show us pictures??!! That should be against HF rules!!
JCnGrace and Oktobar like this.

Some info I've found helpful; [COLOR=Lime][B]
