All I know is when I watch those high level FEI shows the horses are generally 16+ and the riders are virtually perfect, no flaws in either whatsoever.

I'm not a Dressage guy, but I appreciate it. My passion is playing with cattle from the back of a horse. That said, I have tremendous admiration for the horsemanship.

In the words of my favorite smart aleck, King Lear is just words arranged in an order worth reading. Enjoy the ride and the journey.

I have about 10 years (in total) of consistent riding under my belt. Some days I feel like a rock star, and some days I wonder why anyone even lets me near a horse. So... it takes... forever? A lot of it is physical skill and fitness, but soooo much of it is a mental game.
