Unhappy Exercises to Stay in Shape While Off Riding?

I fractured my wrist just last week and I'm off riding for the next five weeks. I'll definitely be dreading those stiff legs and muscle pains after I start up again. I do regular exercise, as I do Taekwondo, but none of them work out the same muscles needed for riding. Anyone know any good exercises to keep my riding muscles fit while I'm off riding?

Coda...

Off riding for 5 weeks! That's way too long! ;) I was at a show the weekend after I broke mine! Lol.

But anyways but to keep those muscles strong you can do lunges, squats, and leg lifts along with some weight lifting machines can help (I don't know the names of them lol sorry). Along with stretching will help the muscles not get stuff and lose tone while you're off of riding. Good luck! :)

Nothing will keep your riding muschles fit for riding, but doing calisthenics will help you to stay fit, as well as riding a bike or running. When I am riding I try to do these exercises for 3+ hours a week. I would try for every day, at least 45 minutes if not riding.

Good luck!

Haha I know, right? But it's doctor's orders and my parents would never let me ride with a fractured wrist.

Thanks for the tips though, I'll definitely try them
