Equine Colleges in Canada

So I've been thinking about heading to college and it's been a challenge to try to figure out what I want to go to school for. But I think I've come to the conclusion of pursuing things in the equine field or potentially something vet related. I dont think I'd be an actual vet as there's certain things I wouldnt be able to handle, but perhaps a ver assistant or something like. Though I'd rather get in the the equine field first. Figured it would be a good step to get my foot in the door for future horse related things I want to pursue such as running a rescue/sanctuary for horses.

So I was just wondering what colleges in Canada you guys might suggest if you know of any.
One school that I've found that looks good/interesting is Olds College. It seems decently affordable and has at least 3 courses that I'd love to take such as Equine Science, Farrier Science, and Groom.
Another one that seems interesting is Queen Margrets school. It looks like it might be one of those fancy type of schools. These are the only two schools I've found so far, but I'm planning on continuing my search and see what else I come across.

Any other suggestions on how to get into the equine world for jobs and such would be much appreciated as well 🙂

My mother went to Olds in 1984 and found it helpful then. I was under the impression that Queen Margarets was a private high school for girls. Maybe i'm wrong.

University of Guelph offers a LOT of Equine Courses- mostly online. I have a diploma in Equine Studies and a Certificate in Equine Business management through them. Their courses are very thorough. Unfortunately not very hands on- I did my classes online and did a Working Student position at the same time for more hands on experience. I believe they may also have a Vet Tech course, which I believe is on campus, but am not positive. Would look into it for sure.
