I ride western, on a TB/QH, and I was just wondering about cross country. How long does one Cross country round (training level) typically take? Also, what are the average heights of the jumps in training level? Thanks!
your best resource will be to check the rule book for the governing body for eventing in your area - it will specify the height, spread and number of jumps per level, the distance and speed required for derbies/combined tests and horse trials. Specs and names will vary from country to country for the lower and mid levels (FEI levels are the same world wide). Also not sure if you mean to ask about the actual devison called "Training Level" or for a general idea for beginner level devsions?
