Hiya! :smile::smile:

I did my first eventing a few months ago and fell in love! I'm trying to find some boots for the cross country part that are good quality and hopefully won't break the bank! Does anyone have any suggestions? Doesn't have to be anything fancy as we're competing 80cm eventing at the moment.

Any opinions on medicine boots? Seen lots of anti, but was wondering if medicine boots made out of neoprene would be better than others?

I do have an eventing clinic at the end of the month with an olympic rider so will ask him as well, just asking for opinions in the meantime.

Thanks! :gallop:

I discovered it's actually a very hard question to answer. I bought the Ecogold cross country boots and ended up not overly happy with them. The starts I found were not very good. I did not like the fit of them and kept having issues with them sliding down my mares hind legs while out on cross country. I ended up trying the Woof cross country boots and ended up having great success with them. I put them through their first season of fox hunting this year and they went through a decent amount of abuse. Very impressed with them from the price point they are at. They are just a little cheaper than the ecogold and fit absolutely fantastic and easy to wash. They have also fit quite a wide range of horses which makes them all that much more valuable.
