@Kriva , we still have a Dish subscription, so that's where I get Ride TV, Cowboy Channel, and RFD TV. I like having those channels, even though I rarely watch TV these days. I've set up series recordings for a few things like the show season of show jumping, dressage, eventing, Julie Goodnight's training show, etc. and on a rainy day when I can't do much outside will watch a few episodes.

We also have Roku and Amazon Prime will occasionally pull up a movie or a Netflix series, but we're so pop-culture illiterate it's usually years after things were popular . I'm honestly not sure why we even bother keeping Dish since we might watch a couple of hours of TV a week, but I guess it's on the off chance there's something "must-watch" that I'd want to be able to pull up.

Hope everyone has a good New Year's- we're tentatively heading to a friend's for a party, but if we do that I can pretty much guarantee we'll be the first to leave and head home to bed, even though we'll also probably be the only ones that don't have kids to get home to bed!

Itís sunny and a mild 52F/11C here. The weather must be fooling the birds into thinking it's spring as they were singing their hearts out this morning. The weather is to be the same over the weekend, which will mean an opportunity to ride.

Iíve no plans for the weekend or New Year (Hogmanay). Iím still on leave and will be until next year so I donít feel like I need to rush to get things planned for the weekend or Hogmanay.

Supper was Lorn sausage and steamed veg.

I donít even attempt to make resolutionís LOL: they never last!

like many nothing planned for New Years Eve. will not even watch the ball drop. Al Bundy Married with Children is funnier. unless the change the programing.

The Cowboy channel still has the Lone Ranger & Roy Rodgers. LOL.
