@aubie , what the heck is Streak O Lean?

My dog likes to eat snow or if it's raining to lap up the little bit of water that stands on the sidewalk. To that end he also wants out more often than usual. Tonight he is sticking to me like glue because I had the audacity to get out of his sight today. LOL
Basically bacon. But reversed. Bacon has meat with a little fat . This is mostly fat with a streak of lean.

'Streaky bacon' I bought a few packets last month by accident. It's got a great taste.

I've always bought back bacon rashers - pork loin and belly. I think that's more traditional in the UK.

It ended up being a beautiful day yesterday. Before the games I rode the two colts, and then I just couldnít get enough of the weather. So, after I did my chores I went for a run.

The games were fun. My girl ended up sick, but she still played decently well. I was proud, but they did end up losing. It solidified their #2 standing, but maybe they will beat them in regionals. The boys game was a blast to watch, but they lost too in overtime with double bonus.

I hope today is as fun of a day.

We have real snow. I didn't know it was supposed to. Remington is beside himself with joy.

Yesterday turned out basically a big wash with tournaments. Hopefully today will be better. But I can't really be overly concerned because he is so unbelievably happy.

Thank you. You cant see in picture but he has rolled his orange retrieving dummy down that hill. Then he runs and hide behind the tree and peeks till I throw it. Made it up all on his own, I didn't teach him.

Da da! Got the path around the house and all where Aunt walks blasted clean. Darn good machine.

Looks so much better.

Tomorrow, if it isn't to bad weather wise I will do by the garage and turning point. Of the weather is bad then I will keep the machine for another day and do what I can of the drive.

Of course she told me we had to have a settle up soon. She is going to her daughters for Sunday Lunch tomorrow. I have spent roughly six hours which, considering the amount of growth and the area covered was pretty good going.

I have taken a couple of ibuprofen as my back is sore. The lance could be about 6" longer then I wouldn't have to keep bent over so much.

See what tomorrow brings.

My dinner plans went out the window last night due to a very upset stomach. Oh well....so I ended up falling asleep with the heating bag on my tummy to try to help soothe it.

Woke up today and it is sore, but not sick so that is good!! So far it has been a semi-productive day. I baked homemade sourdough biscuits and got most of the house cleaning done. It is windy out, but temp isn't bad at -3 celsius...so might saddle up a horse and go for a ride.

I also want to get a short run in - physio says to do intervals of walk/run so as not to aggravate the stress fracture. But I am having a hard time with that as I have a 1/2 marathon to train for. Stupid injuries!

@aubie , that is crazy the amount of snow you have!!! Looks like puppers is thoroughly enjoying himself though :)

B/F sometimes buys these bacon cuttings that are mostly fat and very little meat. I won't eat them (not a meat eater), but he sure enjoys them. He likes to fry them up and add them to pasta. I do admit that bacon cooking is one of my favorite smells. Reminds so much of when we were little and would go on camping trips.
