Latest Friday Night Conversation

Well rain has returned. But the water is not coming from the pipe so I can't complain. How is it where you are?

Plans for tonight? This weekend? Don't know about supper yet.

My kick off question this week is UFO? Anyone seen one?

Also I personal request- Remington has been throwing up . Maybe couple three times last couple of days. But he acts fine. Eats up and everything. Jumps around. Going to vet now. Please keep a good thoughts and prayer for him.

I'm so glad this day finally came...it's been such a long week. We had a huge filing at work (I work in a law firm) & although I'm glad I'm getting OT, still, working long hours then having to come in early the next day was tough! Just glad it went smoothly in the end!

Supposed to rain later tonight into tomorrow, so not sure about riding. Might ride tonight if it doesn't, but it's just so dark still, & it's a pain in the butt even riding with a headlamp. It is staying lighter later as the days go on, but just ready for the clocks to go back already.

Nope, never seen a UFO! Plans this weekend, riding if possible, then seeing Doolittle on Sunday because I love Robert Downey Jr. & I think it'll be cute! :) Gonna clean the house too & do laundry. Same old stuff.

I hope Remington feels better, please keep us posted on the vet visit. Maybe he ate something he wasn't supposed to, could be a blockage or something, hopefully nothing serious. Keeping you guys in my thoughts.

Ride more, worry less.

@aubie , fingers crossed it's nothing serious. Please keep us updated on what the vets says and how he's doing.

Nope, have never seen a UFO, outer space alien nor a ghost for that matter. All the good stuff passes me by.

Need to go down to Clarksville somewhere in the near future but hoping hubby doesn't want to go until next Tues. or Wed. when traffic and people are just a little less congested. Other than that possibility the weekend is open. So are the food possibilities. I haven't been awake long enough to get hungry so haven't thought about food.

That's another question for folks. Are you a get up and eat breakfast right away type of person or does the thought of food first thing in the morning make you say "YUCK!"? Hubs is the former and I'm the latter.

R.I.P. JC 5/19/85 - 12/9/14. You made my life better.

Never have seen a ufo or anything alian like. Have no idea what's for dinner yet to early to think about dinner.

@JCnGrace not one to get up and want to eat. It's more like 1 or 2 pm before I'm even hungry. Sometimes only meal I have is dinner.

Plan on riding today and tomorrow nicer weather ,in mid 30s during the day now.

@aubie hope Remington is ok nothing to serious wrong. Let us know what vet finds.

Out riding my horse.

@aubie , our fur babies know how to cause us worry - I hope everything is OK and it isn't anything serious.

I usually eat my biggest meal in the morning. I'm always hungry when I wake up...and if I didn't have to make dinner for others, then I probably wouldn't bother having dinner.

Our weather is so much better. Nearly every day this week I've been able to get out and do something with the horses. I booked today off work, so after doing some tidying up in the house, I hope to head outside and spend most of the day out there.

No idea what is for dinner yet. I might try a new dish in the Instant Pot. I have a bunch of kale I need to use up, so something with kale..LOL.

This weekend should be fairly busy. And the weather is supposed to stay nice! I'm meeting a friend in a neighboring town on Saturday to go for a walk with the dogs. Sunday I think I have riding lessons. My Honda CRV died on my yesterday so also need to figure out what the heck is wrong with it.

I meant I'm ready for the clocks to go forward****** not back. Woops! It's been a long week.

@JCnGrace I do have to eat breakfast every morning. I wait until I get to work, but I get hungry quick. I usually keep it small, like a yogurt & a granola bar. Sometimes I do treat myself to some pancakes or French toast, but not often.

@rambo99 I also haven't thought about dinner!

@cbar I really wanna get one of those (Instant Pot). Everyone raves about them! That sounds like a nice weekend, & enjoy your lessons! I hope your car gets figured out, that's no fun!

Ride more, worry less.

@aubie hope your dog is ok! Be careful to not give any treats made in China, they are still causing deaths from kidney failure, and stores still sell them. Starts off with gi upset, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and progresses to kidney failure.

I need to have something in belly early on workdays, but can't really eat anything so usually just a glass of almond milk or sometimes protein drink for busy days.

Often miss lunch or scarf it down during work...bleah. By suppertime I am really hungry! Eat later in the evening because just no time during the day.

Days off I usually eat about 2 pm, and call it brunch lol

I can't even think of food this early, but lately have been craving grilled cheese. Must be the cold or rain or something.

@aubie sending goods vibes & prayers for Remington.

We are having a slight warming trend, so it's sunny in the mountains and about 60.

My plan tonight - pack the truck & trailer for the show this weekend in Porterville. The CA Central Valley is foggy, but tomorrow should be warmer than today and Sunday much cooler. They backed off the rain prediction for Sunday. Matt/Scarlett show tomorrow. Pi & I show on Sunday. I am hauling both horses and will stay the night tomorrow, so need everyone's food & make sure I have all my show gear & clothes. Matt will come down to show and go home.

Supper - have no clue at this point. I have part of a roasted chicken, so may just do some street tacos. Yum. I cannot eat first thing in the morning. Usually takes me an hour or two before I can really tolerate the thought of eating.

Have I seen a UFO? Yes! But I think it was just the Stealth. However, it was HUGE and it was close and it was SILENT. I was outside and going up to the house and looked up to look at the stars (you can see them really good at my house) and I couldn't see anything. I stopped and looked hard and could see there was something there that was really close to the ground above me that basically blocked out the sky and was moving very slow, like a huge ship would. For as close as it was you would think I would hear something, but I didn't hear thing. Since I live not so far from Edwards AFB, I would presume it was the Stealth. But don't know for sure.
