When I was a kid, I first watched Disney's "A Very Merry Christmas" on VHS tape. That was always fun and tasteful. Later it was 'Muppet Christmas Carol' and 'The Santa Clause' with Tim Allen. Oddly, their line of reindeer in that movie never included Rudolph, and I think it was Comet that was specially featured. Wonder if that was to avoid Rudolph stealing the show? Haha. =)

My favourite Christmas film is Miracle on 34th Street with Richard Attenborough.

Santa Claus Is Coming To of my favorites.

I love all the "old" children's tales we grew up with...
I was surprised to actually see them on regular channels not the cable specialty ones or for shows of old...
Hope they are well watched so they return them next year...

We like the Dr Who Christmas specials. Also we watch concerts over Christmas. We're going to do Pink Floyd's Pulse and the new live DVD from The Cure.

Has nothing to do with Christmas but if you're a Garth Brooks fan A&E is airing a biography on him. Last night was part 1 and tonight is part 2 but also showing a rerun of last night. I found it very interesting. My only dilemma for tonight is that his bio is on at the same time as the CMA Christmas special which his wife (Trisha Yearwood) is hosting. Woulda thunk they'd have put a little more thought into that. LOL

My all time favorite Christmas movie is "The Santa Clause" with Tim Allen....even though its on pretty much everydy until Christmas, we recorded it and Ive watched it the past two nights. I work until 9-10pm 3-4 nights a week and I can never fall asleep right away so usually end up searching tv for things to watch, Santa Clause was too easy to find and watch lol

Of course I like all the classics I grew up with, Santa Clause is Coming to Town, Rudolph, Frosty, The Year Without Santa husband loves Home Alone, and one with the Griswolds....and my least favorite the movie about the kid that wants the gun for Christmas 😕 lol but Ill watch it a few times regardless
