@MissLulu - I think it's wonderful you sort and match clothes before passing them on. I helped package clothing to be shipped to am area after a hurricane (outside the US).

I was horrified by some of the things that were donated. They were more suited to be shop rags. We didn't send them.

One of my kids who has a coffee roasting business. She has taken clothing that was too ratty to wear and made dog beds for a shelter with them and the burlap bags that her beans come in. They are essentially disposable unless someone takes the time and effort to clean and re-stuff them. I thought that was pretty resourceful of her.

@boots I was really amazed when I was told about all the useless items that were usually donated. I love the idea of making rags into dog beds! What a great idea.



Today was cleaning the garage and I found the first scorpion of the season.
