Technical Difficulties

I had some technical difficulties with my tablet and had to reset. Gone a few days. Lost my icon was logged out. When I got here today I tried to reply to PMs but wouldn't work. I didn't realize I was at 100%. So if I missed something or didn't respond to a post I wasn't being rude I just didn't see it.

I've been having technical difficulties too!

I have a bill to pay, would not allow me to make a transfer from my IPad, I had a chat with the helpers to no avail so, I will have to go to the bank to get the money transferred.

Pain in the butt.

I know you will but Iíll say it anyway ó keep a close eye on your bank account for awhile:)

I have also experienced getting knocked out of forums and have to dig around looking for my passwords -frustrating:(

This wasn't anywhere as bad as the last time. Can't remember if I told about it but that was rounds on the phone with apple and eventually a trip to Apple Store, which was more hassle.

Most of it was my fault. Partly because I have to scroll through my horse related email to find my passcode. Just didn't do everything at one time.

Thanks very much. I posted this because I was worried about offending someone if they had sent a pm or posted something and didn't get a response.

I do keep an eye on my bank account. They have changed the way to make it all safer. A friend had the same problem trying to make a new transfer.

I collect Aunt and I went to the bank. Dumped her in the supermarket cafe with a coffee whilst I went banking and then came back and did our shopping.

Poor old dear gave me a list of things she wanted. BIG problem is that she cannot see to write so her writing, which was always small, is hard to read. Add to that, she had used a dying pen so only parts of each letter were legible!

Still I know what she likes and always find her a few treats on my way round. The only thing that I didn't get was milk - by the time she wrote that the pen had totally died. Luckily I had bought one for me so gave her that and I will pick up another for her tomorrow.

Forgot to say, when I returned the shopping cart a woman, in her twenties, two, children asked me if she could have my cart for 50 pence. (We have to pay £1 for it which you get back on return.)

I have a token which I use for this and told the woman as much. I wanted my token back. She then offered. Me 70 pence which again I refused stating I wanted the token.
She stomped off dragging her daughter loudly stating that some old people are totally mean - I even louder stated that some people are so entitled!

Normally I wouldn't care about the money and just let her have the cart but I often don't have a £1 coin but do have the token.

There is a grocery store here called Aldi that makes you put in a quarter to release a buggy. When returned to the little system it unlocks and you meet your quarter back. Don't go much but when I do if I see so coming in I just give it to them. Not worth a quarter for the hassle.

@aubie - Some of our supermarkets used to do that as well. If remember right it was a pound to release.

We have Aldi shops. For a short time, a relative dropped me off in their car park, as it was next to my work. The company they use to monitor their car park contacted my relative to say that their car had been parked in a space for 24 hours and they'd be fined £70. The company continued to threaten them and every few weeks raised the cost of the fine. The cameras had photographed the car dropping me off in the mornings and assumed that the car had remained all day and night. I had to make a complaint on their FB site for them to knowledge their mistake, refund the money and offer an apology. I've never been back to their shops.
