Utah road trip pix--Zion

Here's a few pix from our Utah road trips a few years ago. Hands down the best vacation destination I've ever been to. Zion National Park was our favorite so I'll just post some from there.

This is God's country. I felt like we were on holy ground--it's just that beautiful.

There is a free roaming herd of buffalo at the entrance to Zion. We noticed a black and white cow in with them every time and were told he escaped from a nearby ranch and the owners let him stay. This one year we saw two cows with them.

WOW. AWESOME!

God's Country is an experience, isn't it? Sometimes the absence of unnatural, human sounds, can be so great, so loud, it hurts your ears and leaves you feeling as if you spoke, it would be a defilement, a sacrilege.

LOVE the pictures and GO WILD BULL for getting you a small herd going on!

We even saw desert bighorn right by the road in Zion and these little lizards were quite common. With the bighorn what you don't see is there was a busload of tourists all standing there snapping away and this guy just kept grazing without a care in the world--so cool!!

My fave too! The whole thing is just like a big playground. There's so much really cool stuff right close to the main road if you don't feel like hiking in. :):)
