Your body might suck, but it is still amazing, it got you this far.

We all get the frustration, even though we may not have walked in your shoes...do what you have to do, and make the best of what you have.....

Sending positive vibes..

So sorry to read of these challenges have recently experienced. Rant all you need to, we are hear to listen and not judge.

Congratulations on your WIN!! That must have been a thrill especially only 2 weeks after a serious fall.

Will pray that your surgery is successful and that you may have continued interactions with the horses.

I think you'll have much joy in your life once this is past.

Hang in there!

Try to focus on what you have left, and not what you've lost.

I'm pulling for you.

I'm not going to tell you to think positively. That is scientifically proven not to work. What I'll tell you to do is keep doing what you are doing - getting better, getting your health issues seen to, and working actively towards riding or whatever it is you would like to be able to do with horses.

When your brain starts piping up with thoughts like "I'm broken", "I can't do it", or "My body sucks", I want you to remember that those little voices have a purpose in keeping you alive, but you can also say "OK brain, good story" and keep pushing on. Just cause they're talking doesn't mean you have to listen.

Like Aubie said, this is the perfect place to rant. I know the feeling when you just have to vent to someone.

Like others have said: you may not be able to continue with CC, but you can definitely still ride, and there's so much else to do with horses other than a specialized sport!

I hope your surgery goes well, and you recover fast! Good luck and I'm sending positive vibes over your way! *virtualhugs*

You are a beast! That is awesome that you were able to do that second competition with all that had happened before. I am so very sorry you're going through this though. :( I am of the mind, doctors tell us we can't do a lot of things, just to have the best possible outcome of recovery and preservation, but sometimes we can overcome even their most grim prognosis. But of course take care of yourself.

As for the kidney issue, is your right one healthy?
