@Chaz80 , I used to have a subaru imprezza wrx - same color as yours too!! Except mine was the hatch back style. Loved that car, but I traded it in before I had to pay to do repairs on it. Subaru's are pretty common here, but more so the Outbacks and Crosstreks.

My b/f is a bodyman, and currently we have a couple of his projects sitting in our shop - so I get to hear about cars & trucks all the time. I just finished watching the netflix program "Fastest Car". It was pretty good and very entertaining.

Drool-worthy trucks that I go crazy over:

Tires on this next one are a bit small but it's still dope... like, really.

I live for suped-up black Chevy's!! And-and horses... you know. But I seriously drive my friends/family crazy whenever we're driving in town. I can't help it though

And now I'd better quit posting pics...

Oh, i like them. I could have hours of fun with one. Getting to work in the morning would be soo much easier if i could power through the traffic. I can but dream LOL

I, too, feel unsafe with that lag that new cars seem to have. My personal cars are a 78 half ton to pull the trailer, a 85 three quarter ton 4 wheel drive with leaf springs for the ranch, and my personal car, a 68 chevy el camino. No computers or lags in these cars.

I'm sort of reassured that someone other than me feels it. I have mentioned it to others who say, "what lag?"

Different generations get used to different things. I will always feel safer in a big heavy car with lots of horsepower.

The last time that I was in an El Camino was in the seventies riding in the back, across the desert going from L.A. to Las Vegas. Thanks for bringing up sweet memories. lol Pretty cool cars
