Rhadiant Bey’s Foaling Thread

“ Rhandie “ is my 18 year old mare carrying her first foal, she is infoal to Varian Arabians stallion Major Mac V and the last day bred was June 13, 2018. I am surprised to see this tonight? Have any of you had this almost a month early? The farm has her estimate day at 5-17-2019.

She should bag up more before delivery, a little bit of wax particles shouldn’t be an issue with her lack of udder development. While the “due date” is still aways off, she can safely foal 20 days before the due date or pass by the due date to foal weeks later. All depends on her baking time, all ovens vary. I was going to use my favorite foaling calculator to get the exact 320 date but discovered that the hosting website domain expired recently.

I guess the time is about upon me to get my foaling kit together, I'll watch her and hope she holds out till May 17th, I'm having a nice foaling stall run attached to her stall, it's half done and supposed to be completed tomorrow, stud pen wire to keep inquisitive dogs away , but also I can lock them in the large foaling stall if necessary.

I would love to see pictures of your entire mare!

There is no joy equal to that found on the back of a horse.
