So the first one up is the one I am most excited about. This is by my stud Reygans Smart Lena and out of a NCHA money earning mare, Gloria Boon, who is by Cats Quixote Jack (Highbrow Cat) and out of Peptoboonsmal daughter. This was an embryo transfer so she is being carried by a huge roan mare than we named Rosie, as in Rosie the Riveter! She is due March 4th but has no indication of being close yet. Guaranteed a sorrel but I am hoping for a filly with some chrome. And because the name game is so addicting, have at it! My favorite so far is Glow Rey On High or Glory be to Rey.

Next on the list is a repeat mare, Sparks Golden Girl. After she lost her foal last year I decided to also do an embryo flush on her too and give her a year off. This is a foal buy Hes Wright On and is due on March 6th. A super sweet older Grulla mare is is our momma to be who we named Eema which is Hebrew for mother which seemed very fitting. Now she is really looking ready to foal and has a nice sized udder (pic from this morning) has dropped around her tailhead and has a nice soft hind end. I am really really really hoping for a buckskin colt from this cross but we will see! Bay, Sorrel, Buckskin and Palomino are the color options for this foal.

Ok and the final cross is another repeat HF mare, HCJ Peppyz Smart Cut, aka Shorty. She is also carrying a Reygans Smart Lena foal and is the last by a ways due on April 12th

We are a moving and a shaking! Last night was the first time I went ahead and pulled milk to Ph test. It was a lot murkier and sticks than I was thinking it would be and Ph tested at a 7.25. She was pretty uncomfortable last night and I caught her rolling a few time but nothing that made me think anything fun was going to happen. This morning I pulled some more milk and the color change was crazy from just 12hrs earlier!!! And whats more is that it was very, very sweet. Calcium tested her as well this morning and she is at a 425 ppm. We have a big storm coming in this evening so we will see what changes we might have come tonight. It's getting exciting!

Here are the pictures of her this morning, last nights and this mornings milk, and the test results!
