Zephyr - nearly 8 years on

HI Everyone,
I'm not sure how many of you remember my dear little guy Zephyr Moo - (Lord LubbaDuck) born Nov 20th 2012.
Anyhow for those who do I thought you might like to see where we are at now.
Zephyr has had a year off due to me being injured (nothing to do with him) and we have just got backinto work and he has started his first real training (until now we hacked out on the buckle for a couple of years to get him happily moving forward and enjoying ridden life.
Anyhoo now he has a the muscle and maturity to cope with his serious work, here we are and I have to tell you, it feels like we are dancing together. I couldn't be happier. (I have finally found an incredible trainer to help me so this is certainly not all my work, much as I'd like to tell you it is )
Anyway would love to see other horses from this era
Cheers
PS check out the rakish angle of my helmet lol (DOH!)

I'll always have a soft spot for Zephyr! I followed his blog for years and years.

I don't know if you remember my foal, Zane? He was born in 2010 and I used to post about him a lot. I ended up re-homing him to a neighbor a couple of years ago because I just didn't enjoy riding him anymore. I pretty much had panic attacks trying to get him down the road past the neighbor's dogs. But the guy I gave him to LOVES him and rides him a lot, and I get to go ride with them and see him whenever I want, so it really worked out for the best.

I'm still very proud of my boy. He is the most gorgeous dapple grey and 16.1, 1300 lbs. He turns heads wherever he goes!

I still miss the sheeples. And, all of Zephyr's adventures.

He is absolutely gorgeous and has grown to be such a handsome boy.

Some horse people change their horse, they change their tack and discipline, they change their instructor; they never change themselves.

Thank you all, I just love him He is still such a character - a total DERP most of the time and he makes me laugh every day.
Tell me about your horses and how they are doing! This was such a great group for me, I loved watching everyone's foals grow up

I only vaguely remember your blog, but what a horse he has become.! and you look very much at home in the saddle, with helmet atilt and all!

This baby photo begs for me to use it as a reference in a sketch or painting, ok?

Hi Merlot! Thanks for 'checking in' & updating us! My (now old) guy looks a bit less like Zephyr now he's getting on, & Zephyr is so fit & strong looking!
