Bay roan, possibly rabicano?
I am boarding this duo for a friend at my home and actually bought the little guy pictured here as my first horse. My other half is more experienced with horses, but I am trying to understand and read up on the naming schemes and genetics of color.
The horse is registered as a bay roan and while researching "roan" came across some info that suggest she may be expressing rabicano genes in her roaning pattern. I see very faint striping on the rib cage and a bit of a coon tail at the base of the tail.
However, there is very little roaning from the flanks which makes me question it's rubicano.
