What color is this mini?

hello all, is this mini a double dilute appy or champagne appy? Owner states he's champagne but hes pretty light. No idea what parents colors are.

Hard to say since what you normally look for in a champagne (mottled skin) can also be caused by appaloosa. Genetic testing may be the only way to know for sure.

I would say no to double dilute as the eyes look dark. One tell tale of double dilute is the blue eyes.

It could be a single dilute with champagne, I would call it ivory champagne. That could make him lighter than a gold champagne.

There's no reason the horse couldn't be an ivory champagne appy, but as was stated above it could be difficult to determine without testing.

Do you know the parents?

The old term Ivory champagne meant champagne and cream both. There is no way to verify that without parentage or testing this horse.
