Exclamation Enough is Enough! Spam popups

Why oh why is this forum unable to get a handle on the spam that ONLY appears on my device in Horse Forum? I know tech support tries, and addresses each issue as it is reported, but it is becoming increasingly unpleasant to come in here and be hit by spam taking over the page numerous times a day. I'm venting here because I look forward to the threads and stories here. It's just so frustrating because it only happens here. 😡😡😡
Using Samsung Android on chrome.

This is an issue for me too. I'm using Huawei Android on chrome and the pop up ads sometimes force me to totally exit the tab because you can't get out of it or use the back button. Ugh.

There are spam blockers available for all electronics today...
Some work better than others...
Different operating platforms also can encourage or omit and some can not spam ads...

Every forum if "free" has some means of revenue if not in seen ads then in tracking cookies placed...
This forum is free but has those ads you make comments about...
Those ads make this place possible...

I think, no know some forums you can purchase a subscribers membership for a small amount and then no more do you have those ads appear...
Maybe look for on the website bottom to see if available here.

I also found "Chrome" to be full of ads in general no matter what site I was on...
It might be a combination of your system and this site system intensify what you complain of...
Can you use a different system ?

The worst day is instantly better when shared with my horse.....

It had never happened on my phone (I rarely come to HF on my phone) until recently. It is actually saved as “reward center” at the HF address now! (Not saved by ME, that’s for sure!!)

That's why I don't have a "smart phone". They're smarter than I am.

I access the internet via my laptop. I use Firefox for my browser. Never had any problems with pop ups because of the "ad-blocker" within that browser...

Try downloading "Ad Block Plus" on your devices. It really makes spam pop-ups almost non-existent. And it's a free download.

No sooner than I had copied the link above, yet another spam page popped up and took over the page. Each time I have to close my browser and open a new browser. Rinse and repeat.

I'm getting them too. And I have adblock. These are not 'ads' they're the scam type.

They are HORRIBLE this morning!!!

The addresses have all been ....dot world.

They even have a very convincing carrier logo on them! Mine is T-Mobile....

ETA: I went from here to the hoof care section, and THIS popped up:
