As much as I love horse forum, and I really love it, I now cringe every time I come in here, knowing that the spam is going to hit at any given moment. It's discouraging to close out my browser numerous times in one session, so I finally give up. The only way I was able to post this message was by clicking on my mentions to bring me to this page. I know tech support does their best to keep up with the spam links we share, and I appreciate their efforts. 👍👍

As soon as I finished the above post and clicked on "new posts" this spam popped up immediately. Had to close out my browser yet again, and to get to this thread, went through tools>my posts.

This really looks like malware to me. Which isn't on the HF side of things... I get none of those, and I'm on a Dell desktop at work, a clunky HP and a Lenovo googlebook at home, and android phones.... but I keep anti-malware on all my computers and my two android phones came with it pre-installed. Even then, I had something like this hit my S7 at another site that should have never had popups and I had to run the software on the phone to get rid of it.

Have you tried running something like malwarebytes on your phone?

Then why does it only happen on this forum and nowhere else? Only happens when I am on this forum. Doesn't happen on any other website I go to.

I can't answer that. I would just think if it was the site, everyone would be experiencing it sooner or later.

Hello there,

I have sent those up to the techs.
They will get these blocked.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
