Question securing carrots

I don't mean to be dense, but can you secure carrots when off line, or is that just an "inside" joke? I really do hate losing any of my precious carrots. Help please.

As of right now there is no way to secure them when you leave.. I don't like losing them either! Just have to stay here 24/7. Can't sleep! lol. 24 hour Carrot Duty!

hmmmm. I'm thinking possibly when you leave you can disable the carrot game and then no one can steal your carrots when your offline because they'll be frozen?? And then enable the game when ever you come back on etc etc. Never done it so I'm not 100% sure. This will not protect against the Carrot Bandit of course unless you leave the game disabled while you are online, but you won't find any new carrots either!

I dunno about that. I heard of people (won't mention names) having opportunities to steal yours!

I cant find out how to secure them either, and yet every time one gets stolen and I get the PM from Administrator, it always says secure your carrots next time you go offline.

I cant even find carrots without the carrot finder, and I think I have had maybe 5 options to steal the whole time the game has been here. Other people say that the option comes up all the time. It doesnt seam to be spread equally between members.

Hi,

I assure you that the opportunity to steal is spread equally among members. Who gets the opportunity to steal and when is completely random. Members have the opportunity to steal very infrequently because members who are stolen from don't like it and have been upset when it was set to happen more often in the past.

We will be making further enhancements to the carrot game soon, including a mechanism for securing carrots.
