Black bands w/ black/white mane???

For showing purposes would it be considered wrong to use black bands for a horse who has a black/white mane? 3/4 of the mane is white probably..would it look bad to do that or should I use white bands?

the reason im askign is because at walmart i can get the black bands for really cheap for a lot of them but if i want white bands i'll just have to shell out a few extra dollars..which is not a problem I just wanted to check to make sure though :)

I'd use black bands for the black part of the mane and white for the white part. That's just me though. As far as rules or what the judges prefer, I'm unsure.

If I was only going to use one color, I would go for white, especially because the majority of her mane is white. If you use the actual mane banding bands, they are very cheap. You can get them at tack stores and through catalogs.
