Going to do some Grooming product testing !

I'm doing some grooming product testing . I'll post before ,after ,and after 30 days pictures. I'm testing Espana SILK and Mane-ly Long .

I'm testing them on my 3 horses ,donkey ,and my cow .

Dreamer- A buckskin Quarter horse mare.Has very dry ,sunbleeched , corse ,thick ,and easy to tangle and knot up mane and tail. And her coat is very dry and sunbleached .

Charger- A 90% white grade Paint/Arab cross .Has a dry ,crunchy ,and thick mane and tail . His coat is semi-dry .He has a problem with sunburn also .

L.B.- A sorrel QH mare . Her coat is semi-dry and semi-sunbleached . She has a thin mane , thick tail ,and they are dry .

Annie- Brown donkey. Coat is corse and dry . Mane and tail very corse and dry .

And Baby Girl - Black Angus cow . Has a VERY dry tail .

So far I've tested Mane and Tail line , Show Sheen ,and other common brands that escape my mind at the moment . All I have tried have failed me !

They make the hair feel sticky , attract dirt/dust , dry the hair out after about a hour of use ,and SS makes the coat slippery .

I'm ordering them today . I'm trying Espana SILK line and the Mane-ly Long line . I'll update as soon as they get here .

Subbing for results.

I use cowboy magics cosmetic grade detangler with great results, but I'm open minded to new products

Update : I'm not going to try the Mane-ly Long Line at the same time as the Espana SILK . I'll test Mane-ly Long in the fall . If at all .

OMG ! Espana SILK have a WONDERFUL customer service ! They are amazing ! They have came out with this awesome Whitening shampoo that I want to try ,but I didn't see it on their website . Well it JUST came out over the weekend ! And they are putting it on the website as soon as they can ,so I had to put off ordering over the weekend. But I'm ordering as soon as I can !

Good coats come from the inside, not topicals.

I agree ,but when you live deeeep in the south you have to have some conditioner . Everything is dry ! The ground ,the grass ,and hair . Hard to detangle mane & tail hair without something in them! My animals are healthy . They have free choice minerals ,great hay ,and a good low starch feed . ;) Their hair is dried out and bleached from the sun . They have 24/7 turnout on a 20 acre pasture BTW .

Anyway ,I'm having to wait for them to get their Whitening shampoo on there site . So till then !
