Horse hair...

Whats the difference between shiny horse hair and greasy/oily horse hair? I know a horse that looks shiny, but the owner is always saying that is is greasy! I am so confused!

Horses are scared of 2 things:
1. Things that move
2. Things that don't

Natural oils coat the hair and make them looks shiny, but when they build up they can get greasy. Just like human hair.

The horse just has a healthy shine. It is not extreme greasy shine...

The shine comes from good nutrition and overall health, the natural hair oils, and possibly grooming products.
