Roaching

Just a quick question, can you roach a mane in the winter? I've never roached a mane before, and my horse has never had it roached before. Would he be okay during the winter if it were roached?

Yes, don't think it actually does that much for warmth and even if it did think of all the horses that don't have it, have a scrawny one, or that the majority only have it on one side!

I would care more in the summer if anything- make sure to flyspray

My girl is roached all the time and she does fine in winter.
