Adding a new horse

I have a recently (March) gelded stallion. He's 15 and has never bred with a mare. Still gets stalliony around any horse, gelding or mare. Was known to fight with stallion in previous barn, but other stallion was usually the aggressor and start the fight. What's the best way to introduce? I got offered a live on site staff on a farm and want to take him with me, but he has NEVER been (pastured or ridden) with other horses. I want him to be as safe as possible. Right now there's a small herd at his barn now with 4 geldings and 2 mares.

You probably won't be able to do this but, a really good way to gauge if a unsocialized, recently gelded horse is to put him in with a mini.
And, take the bottom fence rail off in one part of the paddock (adjacent to another paddock) so the mini can get out of the paddock if the larger horse gets aggressive.

Realizing that will be difficult for you to do, if you have side by side paddocks, I would let them get used to each other from either side of the fence for a few weeks and keep an eye on them. And perhaps, after that, start hand walking him with another person and horse. I would really take your time though - some later geldings just never get the memo that they are not a stallion anymore.

I'd also make sure that you wait a couple more weeks if you are going to put the gelding out with a mare. If he was gelded at the end of March, I'd wait until into May to be safe.

When I introduce a new horse it is put in an adjoining paddock to the group until things like fence fights stop. Then I turn the new horse out with the top horse only until they work out their order. Once that is established I add the others in pecking order but I make sure there are always more piles of hay than horses.
Sometimes I'll do 1:1 for each horse before having them all together if it looks like there will be a problem.

I wouldn't try a new horse with a mini due to the mini's head being at kicking height. The size difference is just too dangerous IMO.
