Fecal Egg Count Exam Lab

Just wanted to share. I use this lab (Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center) for the 2nd year already. Send the "apples" via Priority Mail, and they call me very next day with the result. And price is much better then doing it through the vet.

That is cool KV...thanks! I just finally got around to doing my first one via the vet on his last visit. I wormed per his instructions but wanted to do another to see where we are at so this will be quite helpful. :)

Sure, JD! :)

I was asking if vet can do it (when I scheduled the shots this month), and the secretary told me just use the lab directly: faster and cheaper. Well... True indeed.

LOL! I'll just have to figure out the ice pack thing but really...how hard is that? And for less than $10 a pop? Great!

I got the cheapest ice bag in CVS. Still cheaper (for 2 horses).

I bet should be something. We have some folks from Canada here - hopefully they may answer. :)
