Homer... Our newest rescue

Homer brings out total up to 18 horses in the family! Time to get our heads checked. Lol. Here's some befores... These are the day we got him.... and then 2 months later.

Wow I had to do a doubletake, that horse wouldn't have been alive much longer if you hadn't rescued him, he looks a lot better, still has a way to go, but good for you for giving him a better life and some groceries

Oh yea... he's progressing everyday. The vet guesses he's about 30. So glad he is able to put on weight as easy as what he has! He's such a happy horse... even in his skeleton picture you can see the life and spirit in his eyes.

This is our last rescue Sampson. He was 28 when we got him.... not quite as bad as homer... but about 300 lbs under weight. This is him at 30... taking my grandfather for his first ride!

Wow, good for you for rescuing these guys! Those first few pics made my heart jump into my throat. It sickens me that people can do that to any animal...and the look in his eyes....he is just such a lucky boy. It's amazing how much better he is looking!!!
