Talking Hoof Diseases????????????????????????

My horse has reasonably good hooves, but since I haven't owned horses for all that long, I would just like to know some common hoof diseases (symptoms and treatments)

Thrush: stinky black and squishy usually in the grooves. Best thing I've found is a tiny bottle of blue stuff, Thrushbuster.
Abscess: horrible lameness. Vet/farrier can help, Otherwise Epsom salt soaks and poultices with wrapping.

Keeping them clean and dry with hoof dressing regularly helps prevent problems.
