Horse has rain rot?

We have a horse that has rain rot and we usually give her betadine scrubs and that helps but it's winter. Any suggestions on how to remove it? Also, any suggestions on how to keep it from happening?

I don't know the answer to this other than that there is some food that you can feed that helps prevent it ~ I don't think it's specifically for that but if you feed it they generally don't get it.

What are you currently feeding? Hopefully someone else will chime in with help for you.
