I have a 10 year old gelding, I run barrels on him, drill team, gymkanah events, everyday riding etc. He's fairly sound, but gets sore in the winter and obvously when I work him hard. I've been thinking about getting him on cosequin, but it's a little pricey for me right now. Are there any other less expensive but still highly effective joint suppliments I can get for him?
thanks for any help

I have been using Animed MSM for the past year and it seems to work well. The price is great, I think I pay about $20 for 2.5 lbs which lasts a few months. When I bought my horse I was told he has bad hocks and needed injections. I have never once had him injected and he has never come up lame.
