shot's to cross state lines?

i'm thinking about hauling my horse from kansas to maine for a 2 week visit with my husbands cousin told me that i need my horse's shot's up to date to cross that many state lines ( she up to date on shots anf coggins) but is that true?

Yep, I'm pretty sure.

yes she needs to be up to date and you need to carry proof of it because if they are following regulations they will ask to see proof

Coggins and a brand inspection are the only two I am aware of for interstate transport but check with your county Ag. department they can tell you state by state.
