Post Shots that a yearling needs

I might be getting a filly that will be 1 soon and I was wondering what/if they need any special shots/boosters/etc? Can I deworn her with the same dewormer I do with the adult horses but just a less amount for her weight? Thanks!

To see the wind's power, the rain's cleansing, and the sun's radiant life, one need only to look at the horse.

The best person to tell you about shots and deworming for your area is your veterinarian. This will be a free phone call and a chance for you to start establishing a relationship, if you don't already have a vet!

Vaccinations are area specific, so a bunch of people on the internet from all over the world are going to give you varying answers. Also, make sure you know the deworming and vaccinations that this yearling has already had before you call your vet! Good luck!
