When the horse dentist did my horses teeth he did not use a power float. He tried to float him without sedation, and i told him before he even set foot on my property, that the horse had to be sedated. He tried anyway, got slapped in the knees, kicked, and flung about 2 ft away from the horse. Then he sedated him , but not a full dose, and the horse takes two shots from the Vet to get his teeth done , or tubed for colic. So I do not know exactly what the guy did, I think he snipped the tooth instead of filing them , I was standing off to the side at this point to avoid those front feet, and could not see around the horse, as he is tall. There was no power tool no electricity, and it whatever he used did not have the 'whine' of a power tool
