Strange bump

I’ve been monitoring my geldings bump on the side of his belly. It is hard, not warm, not tender (he would definitely let me know - usually a sook).

Any ideas? It’s been there about three days.

Weird. I don't know. Sometimes I can locate a bite mark under the hair.

I hope for your horse it is my favorite kind. The kind that disappears without a trace or explanation!

Bite, kick, bug bite are among the many options and are always first in my thought process. I'm with @boots on believing the best kind disappear as mysteriously as they appear. This is a wait and observe type thing for me as long as the horse is acting 100% normal.

Looks like everyone said what I wanted to say already. Of course, if something more serious happens to the bump, such as a wound, I would get her checked by the vet (which I hope doesn't happen).
