Will the scar go away?

My mare cut up her leg awhile back on barbed wire fencing. Just a flesh wound, healed up well and everything, but I was wondering if the scars will go away?
Another question, we had to cut off her feathers to tend to the cuts, will that grow back?
Thanks

The feathers should grow back, it just might take time for them to reach the length they were before if they were fairly long.
As for the scar it all depends. If the hair will cover it up, then no worries, if it's visible, still no worries it'll just be 'unsightly'.
Flesh wounds typically heal up well especially if cared for properly.
