Olmelne 100

well im taking my horse off full board and moving to partial, hes a 23 yr old morgan gelding in pretty hard work we ride walk trot canter 5 days a week. we do dressage, my trainer has told me to give him olmelne 100 active pleasure. he is now being fed cheapo pelleted grain. just want thoughts, and maybe some more suggestions thanks.

Omolene 100 is okay, not the best, not the worst. Depending on your horses weight and activity level you'd feed anywhere from 3.5 to 6.25 pounds a day.
It's fairly affordable about $18.39 before taxes where I'm at, that's 50 pound bag.
It does contain molasses and soy oil though.

You might be better off with something from Nutrena or Triple Crown.

TC's senior and low starch formulas nearly always come highly rated.

Thank you I talked with my trainer and we decided to put him on Purina Impact 12% pellets

I don't have any experience with the Impact line, I believe it used to be the old Horseman's line though,but not 100% sure about that.
