I use this supplement for my horses and it is amazing! It is a tad expensive, but it is so worth the money! Within a month, my horse's coat was glowing, he was eating his feed better, and seemed like an overall happier, healthier horse!

I feed my young OTTB gelding who is beginning jumper training 1 scoop of the Platinum Performance Wellness Formula twice a day. If your horse is just a pasture ornament, you probably could get away with 1/2 a scoop twice a day.

If you compete in some form of competition, I also recommend their Platinum Performance CJ. My jumper mare's joint health has improved tremendously since I started using this product.

And if you ever have any questions, their customer service is awesome. Everyone is always super nice and willing to help!

Basically, I definitely recommend them! :)

Thanks for the input. My horse is in what I would define as moderate work. I work hard, but he barely breaks a sweat. We do low level eventing. He's in decent weight, but I never can quite finish off those ribs from showing. Another woman at my barn uses it who's TB is much more high strung than my guy, and he looks perfect.

The thing that is so great about Platinum is that they have specific supplements for all sorts of problems horses have...and they work! For example, they've got supplements for the horse who is overweight, underweight, has allergies, digestive problems, weak hooves, and the list goes on.

If you're having trouble keeping weight on your eventer, I would use their Equine Healthy Weight supplement. It's a liquid formula that adds those needed calories to a horse's diet. You can either put it over his feed or you can feed it with Platinum Performance Equine Wellness Formula or Platinum Performance CJ. If you can afford going with CJ, I definitely recommend it, especially since your horse is an eventer.

If you're not sure how much to give to your horse, I'd contact their customer service, either online or by phone. Their whole staff has extensive knowledge in horse nutrition and are always so happy to help!
