Here's what she looked like. Not bad, but a bit ribby and sunken around her spine.

And this is her on Christmas Day and two weeks ago.

Ah, she's not bad at all really, a few more pounds and she'll likely be good to go. If this is how she looks in person then what you're feeding is doing alright by her. I might give her a little time to fatten up a tiny bit more by laying off of work for a little bit, or only doing light work, but after that she'll be good to go into full training.

Just remember once in full training they can lose weight again because of the increase in calories burnt during the exertion. So she might need more feed once she builds up to a decent amount of work.

She's cute.

I would keep her on what she is now (personally I would NOT stop the joint supplement).

When she's where you want her I would get rid of the flax and Empower, possibly cut grain, and consider cutting Source but would keep the rest of the supplements.

I would do this slowly and if she starts do look worse stop and read.

My guess is you will end up with just the grain.

I would also give her beet pulp.

I don't know how long you've had her?

I have had her since the end of December. I took off her blanket lastnight and she's looking better. I think the roundbale is really helping her. I will try to get more recent pics of her later today.

I mostly have her on flax to help her coat and joints. Not to add weight.

I was going to add- this is a horse I would blanket depending on location.

Glad to see you already are!
