Cheyenne - Chiropractor's Orders

Hi everyone,

For those of you who have been reading my posts, the chiropractor came out last night and she is indeed in pain! The behavioral problems match up with the time I got my new saddle. Sure enough, the chiropractor looked at it and said it doesn't fit her right.

She has moderate to severe back pain (muscle). I haven't ridden her in 2+ weeks and she is still in obvious pain. You can even see her muscles spasming if you just look at her back. I feel really bad but I'm glad she was able to tell me she was hurting so that I could do what I needed to make her feel better.

Chiropractor has me doing 9 minutes of ice and then 20 minutes of heat for 2 weeks. I'm allowed to do as much ground work as I want after her sessions. First session was tonight and WHAT A GOOD MARE! She was so patient for me and she actually LOVED the ice. She got bored with the heating pad but she did very good. I'm proud of the little lady :). Here's some pictures of her with her heating pad :P

OHHH and...non-fitting saddle means I'm looking for a new one and selling my current one. Posting in the tack section after this so if you're looking for a saddle take a look. Thanks for reading!

So glad you found out what was wrong! We had a chiropractor out for our two horses before and he worked wonders on them and gave us some great advice. Your mare looks like she's enjoying the extra love :)

Pssh.I didn't pick up the wrong lead
It's called a counter canter...
...A very advanced maneuver.
