Foundations, i read your post about kidney stones and wanted to scream. I just had one the day of my biggest final this past spring semester my senior year of college. I missed the final had to get a drs note then explain to my MALE professor that I was peeing blood and did not know why because the emergency clinic I went to gave me pain meds that made me pee like a highlighter and antibiotics for a UTI. The UTI test came back negative turns out after I went to my family dr that I had a kidney stone. I cried for like 5 hours the day I had it until it was passed. Definitely a painful experience I never want to experience again.

LOL don't worry thats what everybody learns first. I have been speaking Spanish now for 13 years I can also read and write it almost as good as I speak it. ; )

Nicole I can honestly say I know how you felt. I had one when I was pregnant and it was so bad the dr put me in the hospital.

I feel ya! They are horrible things. I'd rather give birth with no pain meds than do that again. I had 3 and it took 2 months to pass them all. No more Mt. Dew for me.

I think (since I am 23 and not ever gone through child birth) I would rather just fall off my horse. He is tall enough that it would hurt but not hurt a lot then have to give birth to a child or pass a kidney stone.

We totally hijacked this thread...ooopsies

I have nothing against herbology, but when it comes to fishing out every creature for some chemical compound, that IF it is efficacious in the treatment of a real disease and not just used so some old Chinese guy can be more "potent", I believe it can most probably be chemically reproduced in the lab rather than decimate the critters.
Never had kidney stones. Count myself lucky there.

I agree with you tiny, I would rather take something the doc prescribes me or an OTC then use something that was once a living breathing creature. And do consider yourself lucky that you did not have kidney stones...very lucky!

I agree too. I'm pretty sure the stuff I had was all weeds and no critters.
