I can honestly say rescuing him was the best
decision of my entire life. A very long journey took place, starting from him kicking me, to him laying down on command if I ask. From him bucking with a saddle, to galloping bareback. From a bitted bridle, to bitless. From trotting poles to jumping 3 1/2 feet bareback (:
I came away from the pasture crying many of times, wondering if I should give up, but... I never did. And now Rusty, is the best horse I could ever imagine. He follows me around the pasture like a puppy dog now (: He gives me hugs and runs up to greet me (: He is my entire
life. And to think that he was an ugly, skinny, un-broke horse, is crazy.
Yes, lol, I know our jumping may be bad but I've never had a trainer...
Anyway, this is Rusty, he's 6 years old, 14.2 hh and pure Arabian, and the love of my life.
First day he was brought home.
A few weeks ago
Two of my favorite photos of him
My laying by him on his second time laying down on command
Jumping our highest, and bareback. (remember, my riding is probably bad as I haven't had a trainer)
He is a good resting place
He sleeps when I make him lye down...
Tug of war
Lol, I love how he landed <3
And I have about one billion more photos
