You know, it never even occurred to me that I didn't have to give the instructor a reason for leaving! I am definitely one of those people who hates to hurt others' feelings, even if they have wronged me. I'm polite to a fault. But you're all right, I don't think I should have to explain myself! (If I am pushed for a reason, though, I'll probably go with the lame excuse of work or financial reasons- even though the nun excuse is tempting...)

I have been looking for other barns in my area, though and have found a few that look promising. I'm going out to see a couple next week, to watch the lessons and just take a look around. Hopefully I'll find one that feels right!
